Zanzibar islands are located in the Indian Ocean and it is few miles off the main land coast of Tanzania, is a breathtaking spot escaping from the noisy world. It is composed of the Zanzibar Archipelago and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja (the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar) and Pemba Island.
The capital is Zanzibar City, located on the island of Unguja. Its historic centre is Stone Town, a World Heritage Site. Zanzibar is a one place in East Africa suitable for honey moon holidays and it is a relaxing point after the extreme wildlife and hiking adventures in Tanzania or other East African regions.
