Below is how you will travel/move during this trip.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company driver-guide for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Have a stopover at the equator for photography as symbol to show you left home that you crossed the equator. Continue to Mbarara at Igongo cultural center to have your enroute lunch and then proceed with a scenic drive to the park. Reaching the park, you will check in Mweya safari lodge for relaxing as your waiting for dinner.
After an early morning breakfast, the driver guide will take you for a morning game drive in Kasenyi area in search for wild animals such as Lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and many more. You will also take a visit to the Katwe explosion craters and see how salt is traditionally mined. Return lodge for lunch. In the afternoon after lunch, enjoy a boat cruise along Kazinga channel that rewards sights of Hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of Water Birds like the black bee- eater, several species of falcons, Pied king fishers among other. Meet your driver and return back to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest via Ishasha sector well known for its tree climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable national park through lush vegetation and upon reaching, check-in Gorilla safari lodge for lunch. After lunch you can go for a guided forest walk to Buyenda falls where you will encounter a lot bird species, primates such red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, black and white monkeys and many more. After the walk, you can return back to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch where you will be briefed about the gorilla trekking activity. Later proceed to the forest in search for the mountain gorillas and this will take about 1-8 hours. On meeting the gorillas, expect to spend an hour with them while taking photos and videos. Gorilla trekking is charged 1500USD per person. On return, depending on the time available, you may decide to have a nature walk to the Batwa people where you will enjoy their different cultural practices and dances. They will teach you on how they make their local beer and then return to Gorilla safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Volcanoes national park through Katuna border. Enjoy the dramatic views of the Virunga volcanoes and you will have an en route lunch. Reach early enough for relaxation and preparation for the next day’s activity. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge.
After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters to be briefed about the code of conduct while with the gorillas and later ascend into the forest for a second gorilla trekking experience. Alternatively, you may choose to track the golden monkeys as this rewards views of other primates such as the black and white Colobus monkeys, Olive baboons among others. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk to the twin lakes or visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain gorilla view lodge.
In the next morning if you still have more days, you can check out the lodge and meet up with the driver to transfer to Nyungwe national park and here you will set off with your packed lunch. Reaching Nyungwe national park, you will check in Nyungwe forest lodge for relaxation as your waiting for the next activity. In the afternoon you will go for a canopy walk experience. This experience is charged 60USD per person and participated in by those above 6 years old. This activity is always on a suspended bridge 70m high above the great Nyungwe forest and it’s a guided walk on 160m long walkway that takes about 2 hours on a suspended bridge. This activity offers great views of the East African region, lake Kivu, different sections of Nyungwe forest as you spot different animals, birds, reptiles, insects and amphibians that live in the forest. Then after return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
The following morning after having breakfast, you will go with your packed lunch to the headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations to be followed while trekking chimps. Nyungwe forest national park has about three sections where the chimpanzee trekking starts from such as Kitabi section, Gisakura section as well as the Uwinka which known as the park headquarters. During the briefing session visitors are divided into groups of 8 people and they are assigned to different park ranger guides that will guide them as they go for chimpanzee trekking in the forest. To a chimpanzee community in Nyungwe forest national park will take travelers about 2-6 hours due to the fact that chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest national park are found of moving from one place to another from tree to tree as they search for food of the day in the forest. Visitors who go for chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest national park are allowed to spend only one hour with the chimpanzee community from the time they have met it. In the one-hour experience, travelers are allowed to take photos and with chimpanzees as they de-nest, beast-feed, as well as with the juvenile monkeys.
The habituated chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest national park are so friendly, calm, playful and they are used to the presence of human being they therefore come done from trees when they see people and they will sometimes walk towards them thus give you an opportunity to take clear photos and videos of them. While trekking chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest travelers will have an insight to encounter with other primate animals such as red-tailed monkeys, the olive baboons, silver monkeys, golden monkeys, white and black colobus monkeys, the grey checked mangabey among others.

After breakfast, you will conclude your safari by a drive to Kigali for a city tour. Visit the museum, Genocide memorial grounds and many more places. Later transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight back home.
